This online manual covers STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products:
Horizon and Vista for standard Xbox® controllers on Xbox Series X|S®, Xbox One®, and PC.
Vista for standard DualSense® controllers on PC. For PlayStation® enquires, please contact support@collectiveminds.ca before making any purchasing decisions.
CM0041 / CM00149 are a functionally identical choice between paddles and back buttons. Through included backplates, and Micro USB / USB-C adapters, these Strike Pack models are compatible with first party standard Xbox® controllers from the Xbox One® and Xbox Series X|S® generations. These products are sold and warrantied for use on all Xbox One® and Xbox Series X/S® console models, and they can also be used for PC gaming. Compatible controllers are listed in the image below:
CM00150 uses back buttons. This Strike Pack model is compatible with the first party standard DualSense® controller. As of the Sony® January 2024 patch, this product is sold and warrantied for PC gaming use only. For PlayStation® enquires, please contact support@collectiveminds.ca before making any purchasing decisions.
Controller NOT included. Products are NOT compatible with Xbox Elite®, DualSense Edge®, or third party controllers.
Warning: The preinstalled Paddle Guards on the Strike Pack Horizon (CM0041) are there to protect its four flexible paddles from being bent backwards and broken. This product is ONLY to be used with all four paddles, each paddle is numbered as are the guards, and they are NOT to be rearranged from the layout below:
All new CM0041 have preinstalled Paddle Guards. If you receive a CM0041 that is missing its Paddle Guards, please return it to the store you purchased it from.
Removing the preinstalled Paddle Guards or removing/rearranging paddles is NOT covered under warranty, and any damage caused from doing so will void your warranty. If you end up removing the Paddle Guards anyway, please ONLY use the short screws included in the packaging. Without the guards, the long screws will push down and damage the PCB, rendering the device inoperable, and voiding your warranty. If any paddles have been removed, please DO NOT put screws in the empty holes, as this will also damage the PCB and void your warranty.
All STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products require an update to the latest firmware before use. Due to the size of this firmware, wireless updating is NOT currently possible. To update:
It is easier to update with the Strike Pack detached/disconnected from your controller.
Using the included cable, or a suitable cable, plug the Strike Pack into a Windows PC/Laptop, Mac/Macbook, Chromebook, or Android device. iOS devices block wired updating. You CANNOT use an iOS device (iPhone/iPad) or your console to update the Strike Pack firmware.
Open the Google® Chrome browser and visit the Web Updater at firmware.modcentral.ca
Follow the instructions on the screen to completion.
The Strike Pack Central app will warn you / prevent access if your firmware is outdated. Fortunately, firmware updates are NOT released that often.
After updating the Strike Pack firmware, please perform a memory clear. This will remove any remnants of the previous firmware, avoiding any related issues. You can memory clear with the Strike Pack either attached or detached from the controller.
Use care when attaching or detaching the Strike Pack from your controller, especially with the Horizon Vista for DualSense® to avoid breaking its connector. To detach, remove the cable first and unclip the hinge (or remove the USB adapter for Xbox® Strike Pack), then flip your controller over and slide the Strike Pack straight up and off - never at an angle.
For Xbox® Strike Packs, ensure the correct backplate is attached for a proper fit. They are labeled "XB1" (Micro USB controllers) and "XB Series" (USB-C controllers) accordingly. If you are having trouble lining up the adapter connector with your controller's port, you may have to gently pinch both ends closer together, and then try again.
STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products have evolved paddle/back button mapping:
Mapping Mode: Prevents the accidental remapping of older Strike Pack models.
Tournament Mode: Dedicated mapping; no app required for this.
GAMEPACK Mode: Set up multiple mapping profiles in the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app.
STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ requires Android 9, iOS 15, or later.
M.O.D. CENTRAL™/M.O.D.|PASS™ NOT compatible with Horizon/Vista.
Through the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app, STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products gain access to several evolving features at no extra charge, including the following and much more:
Set up multiple mapping profiles.
Access GAMEPACKs with game-specific M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand).
Create and share your own macros, generators, and Anti-Recoil.
Watch the video below to learn how to connect to the app:
STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products are wired lag free devices that require a continuous wired connection to the platform you are currently playing on.
⚠️ NEVER plug the Strike Pack into a wall plug/fast charger as this may void your warranty and damage the device! ⚠️
The included USB cable is 3 meters. This should be long enough for most gamers. Extensions or longer cables risk power loss/disconnections.
The preinstalled Paddle Guards on the Strike Pack Horizon (CM0041) are there to protect its four flexible paddles from being bent backwards and broken. This product is ONLY to be used with all four paddles, each paddle is numbered as are the guards, and they are NOT to be rearranged. Removal is NOT covered under warranty.
With DualSense® Strike Pack, the included USB cable is USB C to C. Avoid using unofficial USB C to C cables that may fail to safely follow the USB C standard. If you want, you can use a USB A to C cable instead.
With DualSense® Strike Pack, we have noticed some of you are not reading its online product description when purchasing. To clarify, this product is now rebranded online and sold solely for PC gaming use. For PlayStation® enquires, contact support@collectiveminds.ca
It is mandatory to perform a Strike Pack firmware update out of the box. Failing to do so will result in total lack of function.
You should also update your controller's firmware. You can still update it when the Strike Pack is attached.
With Xbox® Strike Pack, always use the power button on your console to turn it on.
The Strike Pack should automatically turn on your controller. If it fails to do so, this indicates a data connection issue, possibly a cable or controller port issue. DO NOT manually turn on your controller as this will cause it to connect wirelessly instead of through the Strike Pack. Instead check all connections, and if possible try another controller and cable.
To load/configure GAMEPACK M.O.D.s, this product requires a Bluetooth® connection to a compatible smart device (Android 9, iOS 15, or later) running the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ companion app with internet. Certain M.O.D.s require a continuous Bluetooth® connection.
‼️Please allow all requested permissions!‼️
Keep your smart device charged, and perhaps on a vertical stand for the ultimate experience.
The last accessed GAMEPACK is retained in memory, allowing limited features to continue functioning without connection to the app.
GAMEPACK Mode will switch to the last accessed GAMEPACK, which is retained in memory, allowing limited features to continue functioning without connection to the app.
Name/store up to 27 profiles per GAMEPACK to suit different gameplay strategies. Profiles are stored locally. The app now includes the ability to export a profile to back it up for safe keeping.
⚠️ If you uninstall/reinstall STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™, all profiles/settings will be cleared! ⚠️ The app will also warn you if a GAMEPACK has a major update. If you accept a major update, the corresponding 27 profiles will be cleared. Profiles will be left alone for smaller updates. Our team keeps major update frequency to an absolute minimum.
STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ manuals are frequently updated with new information. Features are subject to change. If you encounter incorrect or missing information, feel free to DM us on Facebook to get it corrected.
If you run into a technical issue, use STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™'s built-in support system to email our Support Team. This will attach your current profile settings and device information to the email; please DO NOT remove these text files. Please DO NOT leave mandatory* questions unanswered or you may not receive a response. We reserve the right to cut support access for spamming or aggressive behavior.
M.O.D.s can be timing sensitive, and they will perform best when your game is installed and being played locally. While PC is now supported, most of our testing is on console. Results may vary with certain M.O.D.s due to differences in timing.
Any GAMEPACK that supports specific in-game settings will ONLY function as intended when your in-game settings are MATCHED, and anything else is at your own discretion.
Our team may remove, discontinue support for, or redesign any M.O.D. at any point for any reason, but usually when a M.O.D. is NO longer viable due to changes within the game.
Our team considers STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ a means to help you achieve your best within your skill bracket. M.O.D.s are entirely optional fun, providing accessibility to include all gamers. They are but a humble assist in a sea of cross-platform play where controller users are often matched against open platforms sporting brutal advantages, such as insane frame rates, top-tier macro keyboards and mice, and illegitimate outside exploits.
Usage: As with previous STRIKEPACK™ adapters, the STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ or STRIKEPACK HORIZON VISTA™ is a functionally transparent device, as is its mapping capability. It seamlessly makes a wired connection between your controller and console/PC, providing full functionality, while your console/PC simply sees this setup as a standard controller. The STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ companion app, connected via Bluetooth® on a compatible smart device (Android 9, iOS 15, or later), provides optional M.O.D.s which are Macros On Demand in the form of GAMEPACKs. These macros are simply sets of controller commands (or button presses if you will) that need to be seen by your console to function. Our team is always looking to improve upon these macros. STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ is intended to bring immense fun and enjoyment to your personal gaming, respectfully, in public matches. We DO NOT condone using M.O.D.s to attempt to gain a "perceived competitive advantage" in ranked, tournament, or other organized competitive environments. Should a game maker object to your use of this product in their terms of service, then by using this product or its M.O.D.s, you agree to assume ALL responsibility and associated risks for any action taken against you, your account, and resulting damages for any such violation. STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ explicitly CANNOT access or change machine or game code. It categorically CANNOT exceed existing gameplay limitations, which game developers may also rebalance at a moment's notice, changing what is possible. M.O.D. effectiveness varies based on the individual and factors beyond our control.

It is easier to update the Strike Pack when it is detached/disconnected from your controller. However, if you wish to update while still attached/connected to your controller, simply HOLD PADDLE BUTTONS 1 & 3 while connecting the cable. The Strike Pack will display a spectrum of RGB LEDs, indicating "Updater Mode", and the Web Updater will now detect the Strike Pack, allowing you to update it.
TAP BOTH MAPPING MODE BUTTONS TOGETHER to switch between Tournament Mode (White Eyes) and GAMEPACK Mode (Pulsing Blue Eyes on DualSense® STRIKEPACK™ / Pulsing Green Eyes on Xbox® STRIKEPACK™).
