(Old) Quick Edit Anti-Recoil | GR Breakpoint

"Anti-Recoil" for GR Breakpoint GAMEPACK is a M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) that when adjusted correctly for your current weapon, slightly "pulls down" on your aim/camera stick to reduce the effect of vertical recoil. It may not apply to certain Weapon Fire Modes.
"Quick Edit" allows for "Anti-Recoil Adjustments" during play. This GAMEPACK uses an older implementation of Quick Edit. You can test-fire & apply Anti-Recoil using your controller, observing your results in real-time.

1. Getting Started

First, you MUST enable both Anti-Recoil and Quick Edit. To do so, visit the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration and set "ADS Anti-Recoil" to an appropriate "Quick Edit" option.
Once you are in-game 🎮, position yourself and aim at a wall 🧱 or static target 🎯, ensuring you have plenty of ammunition and the room to compare recoil. Switch to the in-game weapon 🔫 you will be using, such as your Primary Weapon. Ensure the Anti-Recoil Profile you intend to adjust is ACTIVE.

2. Four Anti-Recoil Profiles - GR Breakpoint

There are four "Anti-Recoil Profiles" that can be assigned with different weights. The higher the weight value, the heavier the Anti-Recoil will pull down. You can swap between Anti-Recoil Profiles via the following Controller Shortcuts:
While /
DOWN D-PAD is
HELD, you can
TAP the following FACE BUTTONS to swap between "Anti-Recoil Profiles" (you will feel a heavy rumble indicator):
/
Profile 1 (Heavy Rumble).
/
Profile 2 (Two Heavy Rumbles).
/
Profile 3 (Three Heavy Rumbles).
/
Profile 4 (Four Heavy Rumbles).

3. Quick Edit Adjustments

This GAMEPACK has Vertical Anti-Recoil Adjustments:

To enter Quick Edit, while HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) & FIRE buttons together,
TAP
/
DOWN D-PAD. You can immediately stop firing to conserve ammunition but you MUST REMAIN ADS to stay in Quick Edit.
You can adjust the Anti-Recoil value with the D-PAD by TAPPING the corresponding D-Pad direction. Your adjustments will be felt as heavy rumbles unless the adjustment ceiling or floor is reached. Your adjustments will change the ACTIVE Anti-Recoil Profile's slider value in the GAMEPACK Config for you to note down later.
Begin test-firing Anti-Recoil and pay attention to the vertical direction of your aim:
If your aim is drifting up, use /
DOWN D-PAD to increase the value.
If your aim is drifting down, use /
UP D-PAD to decrease the value.
Focus on achieving a mostly steady and level aim, as you CANNOT correct any randomized or horizontal recoil:

M.O.D. Toggle

There is no toggle for just Anti-Recoil but you can use the "M.O.D. Toggle" Controller Shortcut to suspend all Controller M.O.D.s:
All M.O.D.s affect your controls indiscriminately and they CANNOT know what is currently happening in your gameplay. Games often contextually reuse buttons. Menus can be affected, your ability that requires you to hold a button may fail to function because a M.O.D. is rapidly pressing that button, and so on. You can suspend all Controller M.O.D.s to take a break from them (Paddle Button M.O.D.s will be unaffected):
XB: While
HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button,
TAP
VIEW.
PS: While
HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button,
PRESS
TOUCHPAD.
Heavy Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Suspended
Light Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Resumed
To use
VIEW/
TOUCH normally, simply stop ADS.
