|
While your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button is HELD, the Aim Assist Aim M.O.D. variant will slightly move your aim/camera stick. It will do this until another M.O.D. that moves this stick, such as Optimized Recoil Assist, takes over its role. For this reason, it is usually better to choose this Aim M.O.D. variant over the Shot M.O.D. variant.

The effect this M.O.D. has is visible as slight screen shaking that can help the actual "in-game" aim assist to perform more consistently.

Aim Assist uses the "Aim Assist Intensity" M.O.D. CENTRAL™ Configuration setting. This setting affects the intensity of the aim/camera stick shaking. The higher the value the more your screen will shake. You need a tiny amount for the M.O.D. to be effective.

To determine Aim Assist Intensity, find a wire thin object in the game world to compare against. If there is TOO much shaking that it is harming your aim, reduce the value. If there is NO visible shaking whatsoever, increase the value.
|

{% hint style="warning" %}
It is important to manage your expectations with any Aim Assist M.O.D. as it just makes the in-game aim assist function at its best. You should NOT expect a night and day difference.
