OFFICIAL NINTENDO WII CONTROLLERS
All special editions and variations of the official Nintendo Wii U Pro and Wii Remote (aka Wiimote) Controllers are compatible with Zen. Wii controllers are Bluetooth only (the Wii U Pro USB cable is for charging only).
Note: Connecting an unsupported controller can cause an E3 Error Code.

THIRD-PARTY LICENSED NINTENDO WII CONTROLLERS
There are many "knock off" Wii controllers on the market. Some work with Zen, and some don't. As there are so many different serial numbers and brand names, it's definitely a potluck if it will work or not. Let us know if you have a third-party Wii controller that works, and we'll add it to this page 👍
WIIMOTE USB SENSOR BAR
Yes, you can use a Wii USB Sensor bar with a Wiimote Plus and Cronus Zen! Simply connect it to any USB power source and place it in optimal sight of your gaming area.
It works as a reference point for the Wiimote Plus, which has a camera on the front that is looking for the Infra-Red lights on the Sensor Bar, that is how it determines the Wiimote's location.
