Mapping on Controller gamepad-modern

Strikepack Horizon and Vista gaming adapters!

This section explains how to access the Strikepack’s Mapping Mode to map the Paddle Buttons directly through your controller. This is also the only way to map them in Tournament Mode.

circle-info

All M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) are disabled in Tournament Mode, making it suitable for competitive-style gameplay. Provided no Gamepack Profile is selected, the Strikepack defaults to Tournament Mode whenever it's plugged in or restarted.

Tournament Mode stores its own separate mapping settings, as do individual Gamepack Profiles. When you are in a Gamepack Profile, accessing Mapping Mode opens that profile's Mapping section, and any changes apply only to that profile.

1

Enter Mapping Mode

Locate the Function button—the unlabeled button on the left-hand side of your Strikepack—enabled controller. Hold it until the Strikepack LEDs turn Purple, indicating you're in Mapping Mode.

2

Map a Controller Button to a Paddle Button

While holding any button on your controller, tap one of the four available Paddle Buttons to map to it. The LEDs will flash Green to confirm a successful mapping.

As long as they are held together, up to four controller buttons can be mapped to a single Paddle Button. Even stick direction can be mapped as simplified 8-way directional movement.

3

Unmap a Controller Button from a Paddle Button

To unmap a Paddle Button, tap it while you are not touching any controller buttons or sticks. The LEDs will flash Red to confirm a successful unmapping.

4

Exit Mapping Mode

To save your changes and test your Paddle Button mapping, tap either the Function or Restart button to exit Mapping Mode. This will return the Strikepack LEDs to their previous status, confirming you've left Mapping Mode.
