BF6 BEAM BETA
This Gamepack is still in beta. User interface and features are subject to change as we receive feedback. We are working on videos and will have a full guide once they've been out in the wild for a bit. For now here is a quick guide.
This will fast track you to setting up Strikepack Central Gamepacks that are powered by BEAM. BF6 BEAM is used as the example for this guide.
On the Gamepack Dashboard,
tap the
Gear at the top-right for Global Scaling setup instructions.
Tap Known Requirements to expand the menu.
For proper function, use the exact in-game sensitivity and settings listed in Known Requirements.
Also make sure all Match In-Game Settings are the same as your game. They are outlined in Orange.
If you use a Custom in-game Button Layout, expand the Button Layout Adjustables menu and set them to match your game.

For the Aim Settings outlined in Blue, you can set them however you like. You can adjust Deadzone, bring the Sensitivity down to levels you are comfortable with, and try different Aim Response Curves to see what feels good in your game. There are also Advanced Curve Settings where you can create your own. Details will be covered at a later date.
The Backup Profile is a great way to preserve your profile settings and email them to yourself. You should visit this once your Gamepack Profile is set up the way you like it.
Tap the
Back Arrow at the top-left to return to the Dashboard.
For BF6 BEAM, change the Game Mode to either Battle Royale or Standard accordingly.
We suggest you leave Switch Weapon Tracking toggled on
. This allows the Gamepack to follow your button presses, assume you are switching between your in-game weapons, and automatically swap between its available Primary, Secondary, and Gadget Weapon Slots accordingly.
Warning: If you toggle Switch Weapon Tracking off
, you'll be solely responsible for manually swapping between the Gamepack's Weapon Slots to match what's happening in your game. If you forget to do so, you'll end up applying the wrong optimizations and settings to the wrong weapon, which sucks.
You can manually swap between Weapon Slots as needed. Either
tap the corresponding Controller Shortcut buttons that show on the Dashboard whenever the
Touchpad or
View Activator is
held, or
tap the corresponding Weapon Slot on the Dashboard.

Desync is most likely to happen after a loading screen, redeploying, or exiting a vehicle.
If you’re playing on PS5®, toggle
on Auto Resync. This feature greatly enhances the Gamepack's ability to keep track of whether you are currently using your in-game Primary, Secondary, or Gadget. In most cases, it'll automatically fix a desync between the Gamepack and your game, making the corresponding and correct Weapon Slot active.
This feature doesn't work if you play flipped (L1/R1).
This feature is currently unavailable on Xbox® due to platform limitations. It may be available at a later date if technically possible, though it'll likely be less capable.
You can instantly reconfigure the Gamepack for a different class with your voice!
While
holding
Touchpad or
View Activator,
tap
L1 or
LB to enter Class Voice-Select. While the controller vibrates, speak your current class’s name into your phone to swap to it.
You can instantly reconfigure the Gamepack to optimize a different weapon with your voice!
While
holding
Touchpad or
View Activator,
tap
R1 or
RB to enter Weapon Voice-Select. While the controller vibrates, speak your current weapon’s name into your phone to swap to it.
Note that you may find this feature more reliable when the Gamepack is in Game Mode: Standard because the list of weapons are narrowed down to the current class.
If you don’t like Voice-Select, you can still
hold your finger on the Weapon Slot, and then change your weapon from the Weapon Selector.
A new feature of the BEAM Gamepack user interface, optional Weapon M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) can be assigned on a Per Weapon basis, or to All Weapons at once.
Per Weapon is default, allowing you to make smarter M.O.D. choices. What might work great with a pistol, may work horribly with a sniper rifle.
All Weapons is for gamers that don't care about this and just want to add the same M.O.D.s globally to every single weapon to be used all the time.
To add a M.O.D.,
hold the Green Plus.
Tap a M.O.D. option, such as Sniper Breath, to add it to the weapon, and then the
Back Arrow at the top-left to return to the Dashboard.
Expand the menu to see assigned M.O.D.s. If you
tap on the Sniper Breath option you just assigned, you can
hold the Red Trashcan to delete it from the weapon.
You can expand the Recoil Assist menu to make adjustments if needed, but if you’ve followed the Known Requirements, you likely won’t need to change anything.
By default, Recoil Assist uses the Optimized Pattern Type, powered by BEAM. For advanced users, it’s fully customizable:
Per Weapon Settings: Each weapon has its own Recoil Assist configuration.
Control Pattern: Adjust the overall pattern (strength) using the Vertical and Horizontal sliders. The center position is neutral and usually best. Too far left will undercorrect, and too far right will overcorrect.
Control Direction: Choose the pull direction by moving the dot on the square or pressing the on-screen arrows. It should pull opposite to your weapon’s recoil.
Precision Control: Make fine 0.1 adjustments, or hold the controls to adjust faster.
ADS and Hipfire: Adjust Recoil Assist separately for aiming down sights and hipfire.
Custom Patterns: If the Optimized pattern doesn’t fit your setup, select None to start from scratch, or Import a custom pattern created in and exported from the Recoil Studio Gamepack.
Full details will be available later in the online guide or an upcoming video.
Don’t stress over Recoil Assist settings — they can actually make things worse if you don’t know what you’re doing. You’ll only need to adjust them if:
A weapon changes or a new one is added. The BEAM team may not have updated the pattern yet.
Your sensitivity is off. To use this Gamepack as intended follow the Known Requirements for in-game settings and adjust sensitivity inside the Gamepack. If you changed it elsewhere, the Optimized Recoil Assist won’t match your setup.
Macros created in and exported from the Macro Gamepack can be imported into this Gamepack. Make your own M.O.D.s! We'll cover how to import Macros and assign them to Paddle Buttons at a later date.
Remember to use the Backup Profile system in
Settings when you are done. This allows you to email a snapshot of your settings to yourself. You can later import them to recover your profile if needed.
This feature is more important than ever in this Gamepack, especially for users that wish to adjust Recoil Assist on every weapon. We often see people upset that they lose their settings because they don't regularly make use of this feature or at all.
