REQUIRED "GAMEPACK Setup" in M.O.D. CENTRAL™ for BF42 Base GAMEPACK! Match the GAMEPACK Configuration to your in-game Button Layout and Settings.
Known Requirements
The following in-game settings are known to be "REQUIRED" to ensure M.O.D.s function correctly:
CONTROLLER VIBRATION: CHECKED [IN-GAME & CONSOLE SYSTEM-WIDE]
HOLD TO SPRINT: UNCHECKED (FOR AUTO RUN M.O.D.)
MAINTAIN SPRINT: CHECKED (FOR AUTO RUN M.O.D.)
This GAMEPACK is optimized around these in-game settings. These are "known" settings, not necessarily every problematic setting out there.
It is a GAMEPACK REQUIREMENT for Controller Vibration to remain ON, both in-game and console system-wide. You can block the feeling of in-game rumble with the GAMEPACK's built-in "Block Rumble" under Global M.O.D.s in the GAMEPACK Config.
Match Settings
The REQUIRED GAMEPACK Setup settings are located near the top of the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Config. Starting with "Button Layout" at the top, you MUST ensure ALL ORANGE "MATCH IN-GAME" settings MATCH your in-game settings.
Be aware that the individual "MATCH IN-GAME" buttons will ONLY apply when "Custom" is selected. So unless you are using a predefined button layout exactly as is, select "Custom".
Behind the scenes, each ORANGE SETTING will direct M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) to the correct controller buttons that match your in-game settings.
Warning: DO NOT MISS any ORANGE SETTINGS or you risk an adversely affected experience. Keep in mind these settings ONLY cover supported in-game settings that are relevant to M.O.D.s.
Unfortunately, it is NOT viable for our team to support every possible in-game configuration. Even supported in-game settings may not include all possible steps or options. Consider reviewing your in-game settings and avoid making console system-wide changes to your controls.
Save Config & Slots
Remember to "Save Configuration" when you are done with GAMEPACK Setup or any other changing of GAMEPACK Config settings. Following this, "Save Slots to Device" to install the GAMEPACK to the STRIKEPACK™ device. This will also update all installed GAMEPACKs to their latest version.
