The Gearhead Eyes should start flashing, indicating "Firmware Update" mode.
If you use another browser, just be aware that the Web Updater will not work in certain browsers such as Safari.
You may need to update your wheel and accessories to get everything working. It is advised to not go out of your way to update them afterwards. The same goes for Drive Hub firmware once you have done that initial update. If everything is working well, leave it be.
Now follow the link that pertains to the type of wheel you will be using:
This setup has Drive Hub pass through a wheel to its supported console. For example, a PS4®/PS5® wheel used natively with PS5®, or an Xbox One®/Xbox Series X|S® wheel used natively with Xbox Series X|S®.
This setup has Drive Hub translate/protocol convert a wheel for a console that it otherwise would not have worked with. For example, a PS4®/PS5® wheel converted for Xbox Series X|S®, or an Xbox One®/Xbox Series X|S® wheel converted for PS4®/PS5®.
This setup is specific to using Drive Hub with PS3® on GT5/6, and it pertains to all wheels Drive Hub supports, regardless of whether the wheel is native to PS3® or not. PS3® support is limited to just these two games.
Drive Hub has been around for years. It does not ship with the latest firmware. Please update Drive Hub to its latest 2.1.2 firmware! This is mandatory as the Compatibility List is aligned with this firmware, and your setup may not even work without it.
Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to Drive Hub's "Console" port.
For the update, you will need access to a modern computer such as a PC/Laptop, Mac/Macbook, or Chromebook. With a suitable cable or adapter, you "may" be able to update via Android.
While HOLDING the P2 button, located right of Drive Hub's Gearhead logo, connect the other end of the cable to your computer, waiting a few seconds before you RELEASE P2.
Open Google® Chrome browser, and navigate to the Web Updater at firmware.modcentral.ca
Use the "Latest Release" button to update to 2.1.2. Wait for the update to complete.
After the update has completed, you will be able to enter "Firmware Update" mode in the future by simply PRESSING & RELEASING the P2 button. You will also be able to reboot Drive Hub by PRESSING & RELEASING the P1 button, located left of Drive Hub's Gearhead logo.
