Troubleshooting
Anti-Recoil Troubleshooting:
Issue: Optimized Anti-Recoil is way off in Apex Royale, COD, RB6 Siege, Rust, other games.
Cause: You have probably missed our known Game Requirements listings; some of which are NOT default in-game settings. Because these settings requirements often change throughout a game's lifecycle, some of them will be missing from videos, so it is important to find all updated information at Game Requirements.
For example, Apex Royale & RB6 Siege GAMEPACKs are optimized for maximum Field Of View (FOV), as it is assumed that most players will increase it to gain an advantage. Our team previously found FOV to not much affect recoil in Apex Royale but now it does, so this requirement came in after its GAMEPACK Setup video was made.
It may also be a recoil-affecting Weapon Attachment, or a special variant of a weapon that has different recoil; an issue that quite often crops up in COD games.
You should also ensure that you have NOT aimlessly adjusted the Anti-Recoil slider settings before you have even started.
It may also simply be an update to the game that has changed a weapon's recoil. In which case, our team will likely have it fixed soon.
Solution: See the Game Requirements section here. Please note that if you DO NOT want to follow these requirements, you will probably have to do some fairly heavy adjustments with Quick Edit.
The point of Optimized Anti-Recoil is to either get you there at the start or at least point you in the right direction. If you want to use different settings, you will need to adjust with Quick Edit. The same goes for certain recoil-affecting Weapon Attachments, such as scopes that are higher than 1x in Apex Royale. RB6 Siege actually requires certain Weapon Attachments for its Optimized Anti-Recoil to be effective. RB6 Siege & Rust require a specific sensitivity & other settings. Want to use something different? Quick Edit. Our team cannot optimize for everything & how much we can optimize for depends on the game, but we try to make Quick Edit as robust as possible.
When it comes to making adjustments to Optimized Anti-Recoil, while Directional Quick Edit tends to be easier to use, the best result is usually achievable via Pattern Strength Quick Edit, because quite often the strength of the recoil changes; NOT its basic shape.
