🔫Quick Edit Anti-Recoil & Bloom Control

You can apply Anti-Recoil adjustments to your ACTIVE Weapon Slot with your controller (also Bloom Control if available in the GAMEPACK). Anti-Recoil can be applied to a GENERIC Fire Mode, or in the case of a GAMEPACK with weapon-specific Optimized Anti-Recoil, you can adjust for recoil differences from weapon attachments, game updates, or unsupported settings.
Remember that Anti-Recoil & Bloom Control settings are per Weapon Slot.
⚠️ Before you get started, assess the type of recoil mechanics that your game relies on, as there are limitations to what Anti-Recoil can address:
Basic vertical recoil where your weapon drifts upwards in pretty much a straight line can usually be fixed with "Anti-Recoil Vertical Adjust".
Basic horizontal recoil where your weapon drifts to a single side can usually be fixed with "Anti-Recoil Horizontal Adjust".
Recoil that shifts in strength throughout the length of time firing, often with complex zigzag-like recoil patterns, can NEVER be completely resolved with generic Anti-Recoil & this is usually addressed by our team through game-specific, weapon-specific, "Optimized Anti-Recoil" in dedicated GAMEPACKs. You can even fine tune the "Pattern Strength" of the Optimized Anti-Recoil in such packs.
Randomized (unpredictable) recoil behaviors & bullet spread (bloom), or essentially anything that is NOT skill based, CANNOT be fixed with Anti-Recoil.
Bloom, a form of bullet spread, can ONLY be improved upon by reducing fire rate, which can be done with GENERIC Fire: "Bloom Control" & "Bloom Control Delay" in "Shooter" & any other GAMEPACKs that include this feature. Based on our team's experience, games that heavily utilize recoil mechanics DO NOT utilize bloom mechanics to a degree that is worth addressing & vice-versa. Games may even fake the appearance of vertical recoil when they actually utilize bloom.
Once you are in-game 🎮, position yourself & aim at a wall 🧱 or static target 🎯, ensuring that you have plenty of ammo & space to compare recoil. Switch to the in-game weapon 🔫 that you will be using first & ensure the Weapon Slot that you intend to adjust is ACTIVE, or highlighted on the Dashboard.
Directional Quick Edit is in every GAMEPACK with Anti-Recoil. If the following setting is present, ensure that it is toggled to Directional for now:
Your controls will be restricted, but you will be allowed to move around & test your current weapon.
It is wise to focus on vertical adjustment first:
If your aim is drifting in both directions, this type of horizontal recoil CANNOT be fixed & Horizontal Adjust MUST be kept at its default 0 value.
If you get into a mess, at any point in Quick Edit Mode, you can opt to reset your adjustments to default. This reset will only affect the ACTIVE Weapon Slot:
Focus on fine tuning to acceptable results, as your weapon may have some random recoil & that CANNOT be fixed:
At this point, you are essentially done with tailoring Anti-Recoil for this Weapon Slot to suit your current in-game weapon. Feel free to repeat the process for your another Weapon Slot & in-game weapon. But what if you are unhappy with your adjustments?
If the Weapon Slot is assigned to a Supported Weapon as is possible in several dedicated GAMEPACKs, & you are adjusting Optimized Anti-Recoil with unsuccessful results, there is another option available in toggling to Pattern Strength Quick Edit.
Pattern Strength suits a weapon best when its recoil pattern has maintained its base shape; just shrunken or enlarged. This can be the case with certain weapon attachments & unsupported settings, or after a game update has only made slight alterations. Ensure that everything is set up the way that you want it before you try Pattern Strength.
You can toggle the setting from the Dashboard, or your controller. While toggling from the app will leave existing Anti-Recoil values alone, values are NOT interchangeable between Directional & Pattern Strength. Therefore, toggling from your controller will reset them for your convenience.
Now, instead of applying a directional pull, you will be adjusting the strength of your weapon's existing Optimized Anti-Recoil Pattern.
From here, while testing Anti-Recoil, pay attention to the vertical direction of your aim:
When you are done with vertical adjustment, you can tackle horizontal adjustment with trial & error:
At this point, you are essentially done with tailoring Anti-Recoil for this Weapon Slot to suit your current in-game weapon. Feel free to repeat the process for your another Weapon Slot & in-game weapon.
While you are firing at an enemy, in-game aim assist can slightly interfere with Anti-Recoil. How much of a problem this will be if at all, largely depends on your game. If you find this difficult to deal with, you can make tweaks such as ever-so-slightly over increasing Vertical Anti-Recoil, or for a GAMEPACK with Optimized Anti-Recoil, Anti-Recoil Mode features solutions to mitigate the issue.
If the GENERIC Fire: "Bloom Control", a feature that slows your fire rate to potentially improve accuracy when you are stationary or slightly moving, is available to use in the GAMEPACK & assigned to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot, its Horizontal Anti-Recoil Adjust will be replaced with "Bloom Control Delay":
While in Quick Edit Mode, be either stationary or slightly moving; ideally crouched or in cover, then:
Be aware that at low values other than 0, Bloom Control will have a Rapid Fire effect on a Semi-Automatic Weapon.
Bloom Control utilizes strict timings & our team DOES NOT condone or advise using it in any game that is prohibiting or actively monitoring for macro use.
See the links below:
If the wrong Weapon Slot is ACTIVE, and if you are unfamiliar with Weapon Swap Controller Shortcuts, tap the appropriate Weapon Slot once to make it ACTIVE:
To enter Quick Edit Mode, while HOLDING ACTIVATOR, HOLD RIGHT STICK BUTTON until you feel a pulsing rumble.
With Directional Quick Edit, you can adjust the direction of the Anti-Recoil pull with the D-PAD by TAPPING (precise) or HOLDING (faster) the appropriate direction. Your adjustments will change the following slider values on the Dashboard & they will be felt as heavy rumbles unless the adjustment ceiling or floor is reached:
If your aim is drifting upwards, use the DOWN direction on the D-Pad to pull downwards ⬇️.
If your aim is drifting downwards, use the UP direction on the D-Pad to pull upwards ⬆️.
If your aim is exclusively drifting to the left, use the RIGHT direction on the D-Pad to pull right ➡️.
If your aim is exclusively drifting to the right, use the LEFT direction on the D-Pad to pull left ⬅️.
To reset, HOLD LEFT STICK BUTTON until you feel 2 heavy rumbles.
If you are satisfied with your results, you can PRESS RIGHT STICK BUTTON to exit Quick Edit Mode.
To toggle from your controller, while in Quick Edit Mode, TAP MENU. Besides being visible on the app, when the Weapon Slot is set to Pattern Strength, the pulsing rumble will change to bursts of rumble.
If your aim is drifting downwards, Vertical Anti-Recoil is likely overcorrecting or too strong. Use UP D-PAD to decrease it towards a negative value .
If your aim is drifting upwards, Vertical Anti-Recoil is likely undercorrecting or too weak. Use DOWN D-PAD to increase it towards a positive value .
Use RIGHT D-PAD to increase Horizonal Anti-Recoil towards a positive value to see if the horizontal drifting gets worse. If it does, use LEFT D-PAD to decrease it towards a negative value . Try to find the middle ground where horizontal drift is minimal.
You can save time by HOLDING the D-PAD, or adjusting in increments of 5.
When you are satisfied with your results, you can PRESS RIGHT STICK BUTTON to exit Quick Edit Mode.
If while in the above position, your weapon is firing so quickly that your crosshairs expand, causing inaccuracy at range, use the RIGHT direction on the D-Pad to increase the delay between shots, slowing your fire rate ➡️.
If while in the above position, your weapon is firing too slowly after adjustment, use the LEFT direction on the D-Pad to decrease the delay between shots, speeding your fire rate back up ⬅️.
