How to import a shared weapon or Custom Recoil in a supported GAMEPACK:

GAMEPACK Setup

Recoil Studio is its own GAMEPACK. Before doing anything else, you MUST tap its Gear icon to enter GAMEPACK Settings.

Adjust the settings to match your game. Namely your Stick Layout, Aim Down Sight and Fire buttons. Ensure you expand drop-down menu and DO NOT miss a thing.

Select an appropriate "Fire Mode" setting for your game & weapon. Use Regular Fire for Automatic Weapons, and use Rapid Fire for Semi-Automatic Weapons: Rapid Fire (COD) uses safe optimized values for COD games, and for other games you can use Custom Rapid Fire.

In most cases, the default "Max Precision" setting should provide you with enough storage to record the firing of your entire magazine. If you need to, you can trade precision/responsiveness for more recording storage.

Using Recoil Studio

While HOLDING VIEW/ACTIVATOR, HOLD RIGHT STICK until new instructions appear.

While HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS button, HOLD your FIRE button. Do your best to control your recoil until your magazine is empty, then RELEASE your FIRE button immediately.

The "Anti-Recoil Output" will now be displayed alongside the "Timeline". If adjustment is needed, use the "Adjust Recoil" arrows.

When you are done, swipe down to "Share Recoil" and tap "Export" to copy your results to the clipboard. Paste the copied code into a text file and store it somewhere. Provide your game settings when sharing online.

Further Adjustments

You can perform more in-depth adjustments. You can adjust the timeline to focus on a specific section. Drag each line to resize the section. The "Adjust Recoil" arrows will only affect this section.

Use the “Move Section” left/right arrows to position the section as needed.

The "Anti-Recoil Output" can be pinched & zoomed for a better view of the section you wish to adjust.

Advanced Edits:

You can hold these buttons to perform the following actions:

- “Average Vertical” will apply the up-and-down average of the selected section.

- “Average Horizontal” will apply the side-to-side average of the selected section.

- “Clear” will clear the selected section.

- “Clip” will clear everything after the selected section.

Controller Shortcuts: While VIEW/ACTIVATOR is HELD, on-screen prompts are available.

Tip: An alternative to recording is to "Import" a code previously exported in Recoil Studio.
