Please be aware that the M.O.D. features & functionality described here are that of the latest Hockey Series GAMEPACK. For instructions for any previous release of this GAMEPACK, see its respective manual.
The Hockey Series GAMEPACK is comprised almost entirely of Paddle Button M.O.D.s which are featured prominently on its Dashboard. "Advanced Control Mode" could be considered the main attraction.
While 
HOLDING whichever PADDLE BUTTON you have assigned to "Advanced Control Mode", you will gain access to several useful M.O.D. features at once, including both the "Shot Picker" & "Deke System". See "Advanced Controls" below for information on using each feature:
GAMEPACK Specific: Hockey Series
While HOLDING whichever PADDLE BUTTON you have assigned to "Advanced Control Mode", you can perform the following actions:
The "Shot Picker" M.O.D. allows you to easily choose which corner you want to aim at, even allowing you to aim the direction with RIGHT STICK. The corners of the net are represented by the BUMPER & TRIGGER "BUTTONS". While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON:
There are various ways to shoot; "Wristshots" & "Slapshots":
To perform a "Slapshot", while HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, HOLD the "BUTTON" for the corner that you want to aim at. Once you have HELD the "BUTTON" for long enough, you will wind up for a "Slapshot":
While you are winding up for a "Slapshot", you can choose to aim at another location on the net with RIGHT STICK.
Immediately after RELEASING the "BUTTON", you will release the "Slapshot", firing the puck at your chosen location.
This can be useful for shooting while you have the puck or when you are setting up for a "One Timer".
You can continue to "Ride The Stick" while you are moving.
You can use the "Shot Picker" "BUTTONS" to choose which corner you want to aim at.
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Between The Legs" M.O.D. allows you to perform this move for both left handed & right handed player characters:
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "One Handed Deke" M.O.D. allows you to perform this move for both left handed & right handed player characters:
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "One Handed Tuck" M.O.D. allows you to perform this move to either side:
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Inside Tap Deke" M.O.D. allows you to perform this move for both left handed & right handed player characters:
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Outside Tap Deke" M.O.D. allows you to perform this move for both left handed & right handed player characters:
GAMEPACK Specific: Hockey Series
LEFT BUMPER aims for the "Top-Left" corner.
RIGHT BUMPER aims for the "Top-Right" corner.
LEFT TRIGGER aims for the "Bottom-Left" corner.
RIGHT TRIGGER aims for the "Bottom-Right" corner.
To perform a "Wristshot", while HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE the "BUTTON" for the corner that you want to shoot towards.
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Flick" M.O.D. allows you to FLICK RIGHT STICK UPWARDS to perform a puck flick.
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Ride The Stick" M.O.D. allows you to HOLD RIGHT STICK DOWNWARDS to ride on your stick:
To pass the puck, aim LEFT STICK in the direction that you wish to pass, then PRESS RIGHT STICK BUTTON.
While HOLDING the PADDLE BUTTON, the "Windmill" M.O.D. allows you to FLICK RIGHT STICK LEFT or RIGHT to "Windmill" in the desired direction:
If your player is left handed, TAP or HOLD .
If your player is right handed, TAP or HOLD .
If your player is left handed, TAP or HOLD .
If your player is right handed, TAP or HOLD .
To tuck to your left side, TAP .
To tuck to your right side, TAP .
If your player is left handed, PRESS RIGHT STICK BUTTON.
If your player is right handed, PRESS LEFT STICK BUTTON.
If your player is left handed, PRESS LEFT STICK BUTTON.
If your player is right handed, PRESS RIGHT STICK BUTTON.
