4. Macro Import/Export

Featured in Macro GAMEPACK, "Import/Export" features enable you to copy & paste macros, generators, etc as codes, then share codes online with others!

Overview

Macro REQUIRES the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app to remain open and your smart device to stay well within 9 meters (just under 30 feet) of the STRIKEPACK HORIZON™; at least for recording & initial playback. This range may be shorter depending on local Bluetooth® interference. Ensure that you plug in your smart device to keep it charged. If you manage to use Macro to create your own generator, it will remain operational during playback; even if you leave with your smart device. Remember that you can always use the app on a suitable tablet; rather than tethering your phone.

To get started, you will need to create a macro, specifically using the Macro GAMEPACK.

Export Combo

Copying your macro's code to the clipboard with the "Export" feature:

Simply swipe to the bottom of your macro, then proceed to export. This will be confirmed by the words "Macro copied to clipboard". You can then go and paste the code somewhere suitable that will handle all the symbols correctly, such as a text editor like "Notepad". Go ahead and share it on our Reddit section.

Be aware that if you reinstall the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app, delete or reset your GAMEPACK profile, or switch smart devices, you will lose your recordings. By storing codes somewhere for all your valuable recordings, you can always import & restore them.

Online Sharing

Please be responsible when sharing codes for Macro online. For example, provide the in-game settings you used and any other requirements that could impact the results that others will experience. There is now a button linking to Reddit for sharing "Community Macros". When using your own macros, but especially those coming from others, ensure you have your console/store password protected for making purchases, and keep an eye on the macro when first using it.

Import Macro

Starting with a blank macro, then using the "Import" feature to paste in a code that you saved earlier, received from a friend, or found online:

First, you will need to copy the code to your smart device's clipboard.

Here is an example FF14 code for you to try out!

{"type":1,"combos":["-32256",-28158,4610,514,"-31716","-27103","5646","-26274","6158","-27889","4622","-27400","5134","-28930","3599","-28912","3597","-28914","3597","-29943","2571","-28940","3596","-28914","3598","-28919","3600","-28392","4110","1318"]}

  1. Hold your finger on the small square until it fully traces itself, taking you to the next screen.

  1. Depending on your smart device, tap or hold the "Paste Macro Here" box:

  1. Paste in the code as per your smart device:

  1. If the combo is valid, proceed to import.

If the combo is invalid, proceed to clear & try another code.

  1. Importing a Valid Macro will be confirmed by the words "Successfully imported macro":

  1. You can also import over the top of an existing macro as well, replacing it outright.

Our team obviously CANNOT control the type of macros others create. If you are unsure that you can trust the source of the Macro code that you have acquired online, it is well advised to review what buttons are being pressed and monitor where it is navigating to when you first use it to ensure nothing nefarious is taking place. Ensure you have your console/store password protected for making purchases.
