STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ features four Paddles, whereas STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ VISTA features four Action Buttons. Purely personal preference, both are functionally identical adapters with similarly numbered placement:
This features "Controller Button to Paddle Button Mapping" and "Paddle Button M.O.D.s".
The Paddle Button will be singled out as highlighted & selected, with 16 mappable Controller Buttons to swipe through.
You can map up to four Controller Buttons to be simultaneously pressed, per Paddle Button:
You can bring up a Paddle Button's Option Selector with a M.O.D. list to choose from:
Mapped Buttons is "usually" the default option, unless another function is deemed more important (Recorded Combo or Fighter Combo is often default in Macro/Action-style GAMEPACKs). If you wish, you can assign a Paddle Button to a different function instead.
Notable Paddle Button M.O.D.s:
You can set up "Controller Button to Paddle Button Mapping" using just your controller, without reaching for the app. This is also the ONLY way to map in Tournament Mode. The video & information below covers Tournament and GAMEPACK mapping:
This section covers the Mapping of Controller Buttons and Paddle Button M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) to the "Paddle Buttons" on the STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ family of controller adapters, for Xbox Series X|S® / Xbox One® standard controllers.
Unlike previous STRIKEPACK™ adapters, which share a single mapping configuration across Tournament Mode and GAMEPACK Mode, STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ family adapters have completely separate mappings for everything, including Tournament Mode (covered ). Using the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app, you will create per-GAMEPACK profile mappings in GAMEPACK Mode. With the ability to create up to 27 profiles per GAMEPACK, you can have numerous mapping configurations for different games.
Tap the Mapping icon, located on the bottom-bar, to open or close the "Paddle Button Mapping" section.
On the app, tap the Paddle Button option you want to map.
To MAP to the selected Paddle Button, tap a Controller Button icon to highlight & map it.
To unmap/unbind from the selected Paddle Button, tap a highlighted Controller Button icon to unmap it, or tap "Clear Mapped Buttons" to CLEAR the Paddle Button entirely.
Hold your finger on a Paddle Button option until it fully traces itself.
Paddle Button M.O.D.s are easy to use, due to them being separate from normal controller functionality. The M.O.D. list will vary depending on the GAMEPACK.
Commonly found in GAMEPACKs with numerous Controller Shortcuts, assigning the "Alt Activator" Paddle Button M.O.D. replaces the Controller Shortcut ACTIVATOR, restoring VIEW to a normal button.
Assigning the "Toggle M.O.D.s" Paddle Button M.O.D provides a shortcut toggle for M.O.D.S BLOCKED.
Tapping the Mapping icon again will close the section.
However, if you are in a GAMEPACK profile, Mapping Mode will automatically open the profile's Mapping section on the STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ app, and it will change that instead.
Hold the Function button (previously known as the Mapping Mode button, the one that is on the same side as L1, L2, etc) until the LEDs turn Purple. You are now in Mapping Mode.
While holding any button on your controller, tap one of the four available Paddle Buttons to map the button to it. The LEDs will flash Green to confirm a successful mapping.
As long as they are held together, up to four controller buttons can be mapped to a single Paddle Button. Even stick directions can be mapped, albeit as simplified 8-way directional movement.
To unmap a Paddle Button, tap it while you are not touching any controller buttons or sticks. The LEDs will flash Red to confirm a successful unmapping.
To exit Mapping Mode, tap the Function button.
