(Old) Quick Edit Anti-Recoil | Division 2

For STRIKEPACK™ with M.O.D.|PASS™.

Page Contents

"Anti-Recoil" for Division 2 GAMEPACK is a M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) that when adjusted correctly for your current weapon, slightly "pulls down" on your aim/camera stick to reduce the effect of vertical recoil. It may not apply to certain Weapon Fire Modes.

"Quick Edit" allows for "Anti-Recoil Adjustments" during play. This GAMEPACK uses an older implementation of Quick Edit. You can test-fire & apply Anti-Recoil using your controller, observing your results in real-time.

1. Getting Started

First, you MUST enable both Anti-Recoil and Quick Edit. To do so, visit the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration and set "ADS Anti-Recoil" to an appropriate "Quick Edit" option.

If you play with an "Inverted Y" in-game aim/camera, choose "Inverted - Quick Edit".

Once you are in-game 🎮, position yourself and aim at a wall 🧱 or static target 🎯, ensuring you have plenty of ammunition and the room to compare recoil. Switch to the in-game weapon 🔫 you will be using, such as your Primary Weapon. Ensure the Anti-Recoil Profile you intend to adjust is ACTIVE.

2. Four Anti-Recoil Profiles - GR Breakpoint

There are four "Anti-Recoil Profiles" that can be assigned with different weights. The higher the weight value, the heavier the Anti-Recoil will pull down. You can swap between Anti-Recoil Profiles via the following Controller Shortcuts:

3. Quick Edit Adjustments

This GAMEPACK has Vertical Anti-Recoil Adjustments:

Begin test-firing Anti-Recoil and pay attention to the vertical direction of your aim:

Focus on achieving a mostly steady and level aim, as you CANNOT correct any randomized or horizontal recoil:

At this point, you are hopefully done with fine-tuning the ACTIVE Anti-Recoil Profile's Anti-Recoil to your current in-game weapon. Feel free to repeat the process for another Anti-Recoil Profile and in-game weapon.

M.O.D. Toggle

There is no toggle for just Anti-Recoil but you can use the "M.O.D. Toggle" Controller Shortcut to suspend all Controller M.O.D.s:

All M.O.D.s affect your controls indiscriminately and they CANNOT know what is currently happening in your gameplay. Games often contextually reuse buttons. Menus can be affected, your ability that requires you to hold a button may fail to function because a M.O.D. is rapidly pressing that button, and so on. You can suspend all Controller M.O.D.s to take a break from them (Paddle Button M.O.D.s will be unaffected):

  • Heavy Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Suspended

  • Light Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Resumed
