(Old) Quick Edit Anti-Recoil | PUB Royale

"Anti-Recoil" for Division 2 GAMEPACK is a M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) that when adjusted correctly for your current weapon, slightly "pulls down" on your aim/camera stick to reduce the effect of vertical recoil. It may not apply to certain Weapon Fire Modes.
"Quick Edit" allows for "Anti-Recoil Adjustments" during play. This GAMEPACK uses an older implementation of Quick Edit. You can test-fire & apply Anti-Recoil using your controller, observing your results in real-time.

1. Getting Started

First, visit the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration and set "Anti-Recoil Mode" to an appropriate "Quick Edit" option.
Once you are in-game 🎮, position yourself and aim at a wall 🧱 or static target 🎯, ensuring you have plenty of ammunition and the room to compare recoil patterns. Switch to the in-game weapon 🔫 you will be using, such as your Primary Weapon. Ensure the Weapon Slot/Profile you intend to adjust is ACTIVE. You will need to be familiar with PUB Royale's Weapon Swap implementation at this point.

2. Quick Edit Adjustments

For a rough idea of how this older implementation of Quick Edit works in practice, please see either PS Dominator, XB Dominator, or XB Eliminator.
This GAMEPACK has Vertical & Horizontal Anti-Recoil Adjustments:

To enter Quick Edit, while HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) & FIRE buttons together,
TAP
/
DOWN D-PAD. You can immediately stop firing to conserve ammunition but you MUST REMAIN ADS to stay in Quick Edit.
You can adjust the Anti-Recoil Strength with the D-PAD by TAPPING the corresponding D-Pad direction. Your adjustments will be felt as heavy rumbles unless the adjustment ceiling or floor is reached. Your adjustments will change the slider values in the GAMEPACK Config for you to note down later.
Begin test-firing Anti-Recoil and pay attention to the vertical direction of your aim:
If your aim is drifting down, Vertical Adjust is likely too strong. Use /
UP D-PAD to decrease it towards a negative value
.
If your aim is drifting up, Vertical Adjust is likely too weak. Use /
DOWN D-PAD to increase it towards a positive value
.
When you are done with vertical adjustment, you can tackle horizontal adjustment with trial & error:
Use RIGHT D-PAD/
to increase Horizonal Adjust towards a positive value
, then see if the horizontal drifting gets worse. If it does, use
/
LEFT D-PAD to decrease it towards a negative value
. Try to find the middle ground where horizontal drift is minimal.
You can quickly reset your adjustments for the ACTIVE Weapon Slot/Profile to default:
XB: While
HOLDING
VIEW,
HOLD RIGHT STICK
.
PS: While
HOLDING
TOUCH,
HOLD RIGHT STICK
.
Hold until you feel two heavy rumbles.
Focus on achieving acceptable results that maintain a mostly steady and level aim, as your weapon may have some randomized or side-to-side recoil, and that CANNOT be corrected:
