"Master Controls" are Legacy GAMEPACK temporary settings NOT found in M.O.D. CENTRAL™.
Master Quick Control
All M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) affect your controls indiscriminately and they CANNOT know what is currently happening in your gameplay. Games often contextually reuse buttons. Menus can be affected, your fire button with Rapid Fire may fail to accelerate a vehicle, your crouch button with Rapid Crouch may start switching seats, your special ability that requires you to hold a button may fail to function because a M.O.D. is rapidly pressing that button, and so on.
In almost all LEGACY GAMEPACKs, you can temporarily suspend the GAMEPACK to take a break from M.O.D.s:
Hold for a second until you feel a rumble indicator:
Heavy Rumble: GAMEPACK Suspended. IF the GAMEPACK is saved to F Slot (M.O.D. Mode), all eight LEDs will start flashing:
Light Rumble: GAMEPACK Resumed
Requiring a second long hold prevents accidental activation. It will still activate with a tap in older GAMEPACKs.
Master Lock
In a select few LEGACY GAMEPACKs, you can prevent yourself from accidentally entering GAMEPACK Menu Mode. In "FPS Code Standard" GAMEPACK, this will lock Controller Shortcuts as well:
Four WHITE LEDs Flash: Locked
Four GREEN LEDs Flash: Unlocked
RED PS LED Flash: Locked
GREEN PS LED Flash: Unlocked
Master Reset
In a select few LEGACY GAMEPACKs, you can quickly reset the GAMEPACK settings:
To reset:
You will feel a rumble upon a successful reset.
M.O.D. Toggle
In a select few LEGACY GAMEPACKs, you can suspend all Controller M.O.D.s (Paddle Button M.O.D.s will be unaffected):
Heavy Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Suspended
Light Rumble: Controller M.O.D.s Resumed
Global M.O.D.s / Auto Run Toggle
In a select few LEGACY GAMEPACKs, you can suspend just Global M.O.D.s, such as Hair Triggers, Turbo Melee, and Auto Run (other M.O.D.s will be unaffected):
Hold all three buttons until you feel a rumble indicator:
Heavy Rumble: Global M.O.D.s Suspended
Light Rumble: Global M.O.D.s Resumed
Master Controls are NOT present in Modern GAMEPACKs where our team has implemented streamlined Controller Shortcuts, ways to prevent accidental activation, and moved away from Menu Mode.
