Warning: Combo Record & Playback utilizes strict timings to support time-sensitive gameplay. Our team DOES NOT condone or advise using it in any game that is prohibiting or actively monitoring for macro use. Also, as recording space is fairly limited, DO NOT expect to be able to create a generator unless it is extremely simple and short.

You can record up to a total of four sets of button combinations (combos). The more complex a combo is, the less space you will have remaining for the other three combos.

In the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration, you can choose between two recording & playback methods when assigning one or more Paddle Buttons:

Method 1 (Paddle Button)

You can assign "Action Repeat" or "Action Loop" directly to a Paddle Button, dedicating it to recording and playing back a single combo. Convenient, fast, and simple to use, but you will have to assign four Paddle Buttons if you want to use four combos. You will be limited to just two combos with a STRIKEPACK DOMINATOR™, however, there is only so much total recording space anyway.

Method 2 (Face Buttons)

You can assign the "Face Buttons" variant of "Action Repeat" or "Action Loop" to a Paddle Button, transforming it into an activator. While holding this activator, you can use the four face buttons for four combos. Efficient use of a single Paddle Button and ideal for four short and simple combos, albeit an extra step to activate each combo. You can then use the other three Paddle Buttons for mapping or another functionality.

Stick Record Mode

By default, analog stick movement is blocked while recording. To change the Stick Record Mode:

Hold until you feel a rumble indicator:

  • Heavy Rumble: Allow Sticks

  • Two Heavy Rumbles: Record Sticks

  • Light Rumble: Block Sticks

"Allow Sticks" allows analog stick movement, excluding it from the recording. "Record Sticks" records a rough approximation of analog stick movement, costing significant recording space.

Method 1 (Paddle Button)

  • Your timing, combination, and sequence of buttons will have been recorded.

  • Action Repeat will remove the spacing after the last button press, whereas Action Loop will retain it so you can intentionally leave a gap between loops.

Step 2 Playback:

    • (Heavy Rumble: ON / Light Rumble: OFF).

Erase Combo:

Hold until you feel two heavy rumbles to confirm the combo has been erased.

Method 2 (Face Buttons)

  • Your timing, combination, and sequence of buttons will have been recorded.

  • Action Repeat (Face Buttons) will remove the spacing after the last button press, whereas Action Loop (Face Buttons) will retain it so you can intentionally leave a gap between loops.

Step 2 Playback:

    • (Heavy Rumble: ON / Light Rumble: OFF).

Erase Combo:

To get rid of a recorded combo and reclaim recording space:

Hold until you feel two heavy rumbles to confirm this face button combo has been erased.
