ADS Aim Assist Video Tutorial

"Aim Assist" and "Aim Assist+" M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) for Apex Old GAMEPACK! You can assign one of these M.O.D.s under "ADS Aim Assist" in the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration.

Unlike the Aim Assist M.O.D., our team considers the Aim Assist+ M.O.D. a legacy M.O.D. that we have mostly phased out. Aim Assist+ additionally repeatedly presses and releases your ADS button. There are games out there which snap to target when you ADS, but Apex is NOT one of them. It is up for debate as to whether this resetting of your ADS helps the in-game aim assist. Some of you believe it does, so our team has left it alone. This M.O.D. makes scoped weapons unusable.

Aim Assist M.O.D.s use the "Aim Assist Strength" M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration setting. This setting DOES NOT actually affect the strength of Aim Assist but rather the intensity of the aim/camera stick shaking. It was renamed "Aim Assist Intensity" in later GAMEPACKs for clarification. The higher the value the more your screen will shake. You need a tiny amount for the M.O.D. to be effective.

To determine Aim Assist Strength, find a wire thin object in the game world to compare against. If there is TOO much shaking that it is harming your aim, reduce the value. If there is NO visible shaking whatsoever, increase the value.

It is important to manage your expectations with any Aim Assist M.O.D. as it just makes the in-game aim assist function at its best. You should NOT expect a night and day difference.
