Fire Mode Activation

"Fire Mode Selector" is a feature of BF2042 [Base] GAMEPACK that provides a Controller Shortcut where you can navigate using the LEDs to select a Fire Mode, and assign it to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot in the process.

Ensure the Weapon Slot you intend to reassign is ACTIVE. You will need to be familiar with BF2042 [Base]'s Weapon Swap implementation at this point. You will need to follow the instructions and the LED navigation table below:

XB: While HOLDING VIEW/ACTIVATOR, TAP RIGHT TRIGGER but REMAIN HOLDING VIEW/ACTIVATOR for now to stay in the Fire Mode Selector. Further TAPS of RIGHT TRIGGER will cycle through the eight Fire Modes. RELEASE ACTIVATOR to assign the selected Fire Mode to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot.

PS: While HOLDING TOUCH/ACTIVATOR, TAP RIGHT TRIGGER but REMAIN HOLDING TOUCH/ACTIVATOR for now to stay in the Fire Mode Selector. Further TAPS of RIGHT TRIGGER will cycle through the eight Fire Modes. RELEASE ACTIVATOR to assign the selected Fire Mode to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot.

This GAMEPACK is intended for the Xbox® console versions of the game. While it likely works for the PC version, our team has NOT tested it. Unlike the Xbox®-compatible STRIKEPACK™, the PS4®-compatible STRIKEPACK™ REQUIRES various workarounds to be used on PC, which our Support Team are UNABLE to provide assistance with.

Fire Mode	Function
Regular Fire LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	This will leave your FIRE button as is, preserving its normal gameplay function and leaving your weapon's fire rate unaffected; the safe option for any Fully Automatic weapon.
Rapid Fire LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	When your FIRE button is HELD, it will register as rapidly pressed & released, optimizing the fire rate of any Semi-Automatic weapon within game limits! ⚠️ Designed for Semi-Automatic weapons. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot or burst mode. This Rapid Fire can be adjusted via the "Rapid Fire Delay" setting in the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration.
Plasma Pistol LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	When your FIRE TRIGGER is HELD down, your Plasma Pistol will be repeatedly fired with automatic venting. When your FIRE TRIGGER is LESS THAN fully held, your Plasma Pistol will charge. ⚠️ Exclusive to Fire "Trigger" as requires the analog nature of triggers. ⚠️ Designed to prevent Plasma Pistol overheating.
Pulse Carbine LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	When your FIRE TRIGGER is HELD, your Pulse Carbine will be repeatedly fired in shots of five with automatic venting. ⚠️ Designed to prevent Pulse Carbine overheating. Your fifth shot will be slightly delayed!
Ravager LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	When your FIRE TRIGGER is HELD down, your Ravager will be repeatedly fired in shots of four with automatic venting. When your FIRE TRIGGER is LESS THAN fully held, your Ravager will charge. ⚠️ Exclusive to Fire "Trigger" as requires the analog nature of triggers. ⚠️ Designed to prevent Ravager overheating.
S7 Sniper Rifle LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	Quickscope for the S7 Sniper Rifle. If your ZOOM (Aim Down Sights) button is RELEASED SUDDENLY, it will register as a shot. If your ZOOM button is RELEASED SLOWLY, it will leave the scope without firing. Useful for timing your own quick and accurate surprise kill with an S7 Sniper Rifle.
Stalker Rifle LEDs 1-4: LEDs 5-8:	While NOT ZOOMING (Not Aiming Down Sights) but HOLDING your FIRE button, your Stalker Rifle will alternative between firing & venting. While HOLDING your ZOOM & FIRE buttons together, your Stalker Rifle will be repeatedly fired in shots of six with automatic venting. ⚠️ Designed to prevent Stalker Rifle overheating.

Regular Fire		Your weapon will fire exactly as it normally fires.
Rapid Fire		HOLD your FIRE button to fire your semi-automatic weapon at its maximum speed (adjustable). Warning: If used with a fully automatic weapon, set it in-game to single shot or burst to avoid a slower fire rate.
Steady Fire		HOLD your FIRE button to fire your weapon with a delay between shots for higher distance accuracy. This MOD can improve the accuracy of medium to long range weapons, such as your assault rifle. This MOD is best suited to distant engagements.
Rapid Burst		QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE your FIRE button to fire a Rapid Burst of shots (adjustable). HOLD to rapidly fire. This MOD can help your semi-automatic pistol to fire a deadly burst of shots. This MOD can conserve ammo with your fully automatic weapon. If possible in-game, set your fully automatic weapon to single shot to avoid a slower fire rate.
Tap Quickscope		QUICKLY TAP & RELEASE your AIM DOWN SIGHTS button to automatically scope in and fire your sniper rifle (adjustable). HOLD to scope in without firing. This MOD can help you to perform similar techniques to pro players, picking off others with surprise sniper shots.
Release Quickscope		HOLD the AIM DOWN SIGHTS button to scope in your sniper rifle, and RELEASE when you are ready to fire. Your SWITCH WEAPON button will cancel firing. This MOD can help you to perform similar techniques to pro players, picking off others with surprise sniper shots.
Regular Dynamic Fire		Your fire rate will scale in speed based on how much analog pressure you apply to your FIRE TRIGGER.HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER at a LESSER amount for a slower and more accurate fire rate at a distance.FULLY HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to fire your fully automatic weapon at full speed. This MOD can improve the accuracy of medium to long range fully automatic weapons, such as your assault rifle. Warning: If used with a semi-automatic weapon, it will cease firing while the FIRE TRIGGER is FULLY HELD.
Rapid Dynamic Fire		Your fire rate will scale in speed based on how much analog pressure you apply to your FIRE TRIGGER.HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER at a LESSER amount for a slower and more accurate fire rate at a distance.FULLY HOLD your FIRE TRIGGER to fire your semi-automatic weapon at full speed. This MOD can improve the accuracy of semi-automatic weapons at medium to long range. Warning: If used with a fully automatic weapon, set it in-game to single shot to avoid a slower fire rate.

Fire Mode Activation

You can change how your Fire Modes are activated:

"Any Fire" is the default setting: If you FIRE, the Fire Mode activates.

"ADS Fire": If you ZOOM (Aim Down Sights) & FIRE TOGETHER, the Fire Mode activates.

---

"Fire Only": If you FIRE while NOT Zooming (Not Aiming Down Sights), the Fire Mode activates.

---

"Activate - Fully Hold": If your FIRE TRIGGER is pressed all the way down, the Fire Mode activates.

---

"Block - Fully Hold": If your FIRE TRIGGER is pressed all the way down, the Fire Mode deactivates.
