(Old) Quick Edit Anti-Recoil | Advanced Shooter

For STRIKEPACK™ with M.O.D.|PASS™.

Page Contents

"Anti-Recoil" for Advanced Shooter GAMEPACK is a M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) that when adjusted correctly for your current weapon, slightly "pulls down" on your aim/camera stick to reduce the effect of vertical recoil. It may not apply to certain Weapon Fire Modes.

"Quick Edit" allows for "Anti-Recoil Adjustments" during play. This GAMEPACK uses an older implementation of Quick Edit. You can test-fire & apply Anti-Recoil using your controller, observing your results in real-time.

1. Getting Started

First, you MUST enable both Anti-Recoil and Quick Edit. To do so, visit the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration and set "Anti-Recoil Mode" to an appropriate "Quick Edit" option.

Decide on setting "Anti-Recoil Mode" to "Hip Fire" or "ADS". For games with an Aim Down Sights button, "ADS Anti-Recoil" will be best suited. If you play with an "Inverted Y" in-game aim/camera, choose "Inverted". "Physical Swap is incompatible with Quick Edit".

Once you are in-game 🎮, position yourself and aim at a wall 🧱 or static target 🎯, ensuring you have plenty of ammunition and the room to compare recoil. Alternatively, you can aim at a target dummy to take any interference from "in-game" aim assist into account. Switch to the in-game weapon 🔫 you will be using, such as your Primary Weapon. Ensure the Weapon Slot/Profile you intend to adjust is ACTIVE. You will need to be familiar with Advanced Shooter's Weapon Swap implementation at this point.

2. Quick Edit Adjustments

This GAMEPACK has Vertical Anti-Recoil Adjustments:

Expand if you have set "Hip Fire Anti-Recoil"

Begin test-firing Anti-Recoil and pay attention to the vertical direction of your aim:

Focus on achieving a mostly steady and level aim, as you CANNOT correct any randomized or horizontal recoil:

Your results may also differ when firing at an actual enemy (or other assisted target) due to "in-game" aim assist, which can cause your aim to slightly drift up and even to the side. You can try to account for this in your adjustments, while test-firing against a target dummy.

At this point, you are hopefully done with fine-tuning the ACTIVE Weapon Slot's Anti-Recoil to your current in-game weapon. Feel free to repeat the process for another Weapon Slot/Profile and in-game weapon.
