For STRIKEPACK™ with M.O.D.|PASS™.
Where appropriate, our team includes at least one or more of the following "GENERIC: Fire Modes" in every Modern Shooter-type GAMEPACK's M.O.D. CENTRAL™ Configuration. You can assign these Fire Modes to Weapon Slots.
This section applies to Modern GAMEPACKs which have the latest implementation of these M.O.D.s. If a GAMEPACK uses an older implementation, follow the specific instructions in its manual instead.
In the game-specific GAMEPACKs where our team has been able to optimize weapons, it is recommended to assign Supported Weapons to Weapon Slots, instead of Fire Modes. This can provide Optimized Anti-Recoil and an arguably superior experience overall. That being said, you may still find uses for these Fire Modes and you can apply your own Anti-Recoil to them, so feel free to experiment!
Fire Modes labeled as [ADJ] can be adjusted using the shared "GENERIC Fire Adjust [ADJ]" GAMEPACK Config setting. This setting has a global impact on these M.O.D.s, influencing them in various ways. It is shared to enable our team to offer you practical adjustment options while keeping the GAMEPACK flexible for future updates.
For Rapid Fire, Steady Fire, or any fire mode that is "Rapid", set your in-game weapon to "Semi-Automatic" or "Single Shot" whenever possible for the best fire rate.
Regular Fire
This will leave your FIRE button as is, preserving its normal gameplay function and leaving your weapon's fire rate unaffected; the safe option for any Fully Automatic weapon.
Rapid Fire
Adjustable Rapid Fire
The shared "GENERIC Fire Adjust [ADJ]" GAMEPACK Config setting can be used to equally alter the press & release time determining the Rapid Fire rate!
Adjustable Steady Fire
Reducing fire rate can assist with ranged accuracy on any suitable Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic weapon that does heavy damage at a reasonable range per shot; usually an assault rifle.
Adjustable Regular Burst
Bursting can assist with accuracy and conserving ammunition.
Adjustable Rapid Burst
Bursting can assist with accuracy and conserving ammunition.
Tap Quickscope
Useful for performing a quick and accurate surprise kill with a Sniper Rifle or similar scoped weapon.
Release Quickscope
If your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button is RELEASED SUDDENLY, it will register as a shot. If your ADS button is RELEASED SLOWLY, it will leave the scope without firing.
Useful for timing your own quick and accurate surprise kill with a Sniper Rifle or similar scoped weapon.
Regular Dynamic
LESSER HOLD for long range
HALF-WAY HOLD for medium range
FULL HOLD for close combat
Rapid Dynamic
LESSER HOLD for long range
HALF-WAY HOLD for medium range
FULL HOLD for close combat
Regular Windup
Rapid Windup
BLOCK M.O.D.s
If a Weapon Slot is set to this option, it will serve as a shortcut that blocks M.O.D.s from functioning.
Bloom Control
Similar to Steady Fire but targeted towards precisely controlling "bloom" across multiple different weapons. Bloom is an in-game bullet spread that affects accuracy under sustained fire; usually visualized by your crosshairs gradually expanding.
Reducing fire rate can assist with ranged accuracy on a suitable Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic weapon that does heavy damage at a reasonable range per shot; usually an assault rifle. Fine-tune the setting to that perfect balance where you are firing as fast as you can before your crosshairs significantly expand.
Regular Akimbo
This will place both fire buttons on your STANDARD FIRE button, simplifying dual wielding while preserving the unaffected fire rate of your weapons.
Rapid Akimbo
Silent Shot
When your FIRE button is HELD, it will register as rapidly pressed & released, optimizing the fire rate of any Semi-Automatic weapon within game limits!
Designed for Semi-Automatic weapons. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot or burst mode.
Provided that you are stationary or slightly moving, when your FIRE button is HELD, it will register as steadily pressed & released. The shared "GENERIC Fire Adjust [ADJ]" GAMEPACK Config setting can be used to alter the release time determining the Steady Fire rate!
If your FIRE button is QUICKLY TAPPED & RELEASED, it will register as holding the button for a short burst of bullets. It will even apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments to the burst. The shared "GENERIC Fire Adjust [ADJ]" GAMEPACK Config setting can be used to alter the Regular Burst amount! If your FIRE button is HELD, it will be its normal gameplay function.
Designed for Fully Automatic weapons; CANNOT burst Semi-Automatic weapons. See Adjustable Rapid Burst for that.
If your FIRE button is QUICKLY TAPPED & RELEASED, it will register as a short burst of rapid presses. It will even apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments to the burst. The shared "GENERIC Fire Adjust [ADJ]" GAMEPACK Config setting can be used to alter the Rapid Burst amount! If your FIRE button is HELD, it will register as rapidly pressed & released; essentially a built-in Rapid Fire.
Designed for Semi-Automatic weapons. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot mode. If this bothers you, see Adjustable Regular Burst.
If your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button is QUICKLY TAPPED & RELEASED, it will register as a timed scope & shot. The "Quickscope & AHB Delay" GAMEPACK Config setting (or "Quickscope Time" in older GAMEPACKs) can be used to alter the delay determining how long Tap Quickscope (and the Auto Hold Breath M.O.D. in newer GAMEPACKs) will wait for you to fully scope in. If your ADS button is HELD, it will scope in without firing.
The FURTHER your FIRE TRIGGER is HELD down, the faster it will register as pressed & released, until it is FULLY HELD down and registers as HELD, allowing any Fully Automatic weapon to reach its full fire rate in variable steps. It will apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments at full fire rate. With practice, you can vary your fire rate and accuracy at will to suit different scenarios:
Exclusive to Fire "Trigger" as requires the analog nature of triggers.
Designed for Fully Automatic weapons. Semi-Automatic weapons will stop firing at a FULL HOLD. To avoid this, see Rapid Dynamic.
The FURTHER your FIRE TRIGGER is HELD down, the faster it will register as pressed & released, until it is FULLY HELD down and maxing out Rapid Fire, allowing any Semi-Automatic weapon to reach its full fire rate in variable steps. It will apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments at full fire rate. With practice, you can vary your fire rate and accuracy at will to suit different scenarios:
Exclusive to Fire "Trigger" as requires the analog nature of triggers.
Designed for Semi-Automatic weapons. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot mode. If this bothers you, see Regular Dynamic.
The LONGER your FIRE button is HELD, the faster it will register as pressed & released, until it is registers as HELD, allowing any Fully Automatic weapon to reach its full fire rate over time. It will apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments at full fire rate. Your weapon may feel like a Mini-Gun, as you begin with accuracy and end with fire rate.
Designed for Fully Automatic weapons. Semi-Automatic weapons will stop firing after too long of a HOLD. To avoid this, see Rapid Windup.
The LONGER your FIRE button is HELD, the faster it will register as pressed & released, until it maxes out Rapid Fire, allowing any Semi-Automatic weapon to reach its full fire rate over time. It will apply your Anti-Recoil adjustments at full fire rate. Your weapon may feel like a Mini-Gun, as you begin with accuracy and end with fire rate.
Designed for Semi-Automatic weapons. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot mode. If this bothers you, see Regular Windup.
If you are using Weapon Swap: Direct or Hybrid, it is recommended to assign one of your Weapon Slots to BLOCK M.O.D.s.
Provided that you are stationary or slightly moving, when your FIRE button is HELD, it will register as steadily pressed & released. If Bloom Control is assigned to the ACTIVE Weapon Slot, its "Horizontal Anti-Recoil Adjust" GAMEPACK Config setting will function as a "Bloom Control Delay".
Be aware that at low values other than 0, Bloom Control will have a Rapid Fire effect on a Semi-Automatic Weapon.
Bloom Control utilizes strict timings and our team DOES NOT condone or advise using it in any game that is prohibiting or actively monitoring for macro use.
This will place both fire buttons on your STANDARD FIRE button. When your STANDARD FIRE button is HELD, it will register both buttons as rapidly pressed & released, optimizing the fire rate of both Semi-Automatic weapons within game limits!
Designed for Semi-Automatic dual wielding. Fully Automatic weapons will incur a fire rate penalty unless they are set to an in-game single shot or burst mode.
COD MW3-WZ: While HOLDING your AIM DOWN SIGHTS (ADS) button, TAP your FIRE button to perform Silent Shot, followed by a swap back to your weapon. HOLD your FIRE button to perform Silent Shot, while keeping your knife equipped. RELEASING your FIRE button will throw your knife.
Designed exclusively for COD MW3-WZ Sniper Rifles. Your Lethal MUST be a Throwing Knife or Throwing Star.
