Anti-Recoil Powered by BEAM team!
M.O.D. CENTRAL™, M.O.D.|PASS™ GAMEPACK for the STRIKEPACK™ controller adapter. This GAMEPACK is available for use with COD WZ. This comprehensive instruction manual will guide you through all GAMEPACK features in sequence, ensuring an efficient learning experience.
Global Scaling Explained
Warning: The COD WZ GAMEPACK is the latest GAMEPACK for COD WZ, and uses Anti-Recoil powered by the BEAM team. It uses the new "Global Scaling" system. It is the first GAMEPACK on M.O.D.|PASS™ to use this system. In the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration, you will find blue settings.
These blue settings allow the GAMEPACK itself to apply an additional response curve and alteration to your sensitivity. This is because you absolutely must use very specific in-game settings for Anti-Recoil to work correctly:
HORIZONTAL STICK SENSITIVITY: 4.0
VERTICAL STICK SENSITIVITY: 4.0
RESPONSE CURVE: STANDARD
ADS SENSITIVITY MULTIPLIER (LOW/HIGH ZOOM): 1.00
ADS STICK SWAP: OFF
AIM DOWN SIGHT BEHAVIOR: HOLD
CONTROLLER ORIENTATION: UP
CUSTOM SENSITIVITY PER ZOOM: OFF
DEPLETED AMMO WEAPON SWITCH: OFF
INTERACT/RELOAD BEHAVIOR: TAP TO RELOAD
SLIDE/DIVE BEHAVIOR: HYBRID
SPRINT/TACTICAL SPRINT BEHAVIOR: TOGGLE
As you can see, Sensitivity: 4.0 is required, as is Response Curve: Standard. Many of you are probably not going to like your sensitivity being this high and may want a different response curve, so that is where the blue settings in the GAMEPACK Config come in. The information and images below depict the changes or non-changes that will be made to Standard response curve. The GAMEPACK sensitivity and response curves are NOT 1-to-1 with the game, so you will need to experiment, as the Standard response curve will become more cut off at lower sensitivities.
For the GAMEPACK Response Curves,
There are currently three Response Curves that we've created, though we are open to creating more if needed.
Baseline is neutral, default behavior (it respects the in-game Standard curve, which means any curvature will come from Standard, not Baseline).
Gradual is gentle, slower ramp-up, controlled.
Aggressive is fast, sharper response, twitch.
Why Global Scaling?
There are several key benefits to using Global Scaling, but first, let’s quickly explain the system we used before.
In previous GAMEPACKs, our Anti-Recoil system was optimized around a single in-game sensitivity and response curve. From there, we had to reverse-engineer how each game scaled its sensitivity to support more in-game settings. While this sometimes worked, results were often not ideal, especially on the more extreme ends of the sensitivity scale, and especially in games with poorly implemented sensitivity scaling, where achieving accurate recoil control across different settings was extremely difficult, if not impossible.
Even when it did work, the process was time-consuming and difficult to maintain, particularly in games with a large number of weapons like WZ. It also restricted our ability to support additional in-game options like FOV (Field of View) adjustments or offer features like deadzone reduction.
Global Scaling pretty much solves these problems by taking a different approach. We now target a single in-game setting—the highest sensitivity and a fixed response curve—and handle all scaling on the GAMEPACK side. You can then adjust your preferred feel by scaling down that sensitivity using GAMEPACK settings, rather than tweaking in-game settings. We've also provided three GAMEPACK Response Curves, though we are open to adding more in the future.
Because the GAMEPACK is always working from a known, consistent starting point, it can perfectly scale Anti-Recoil to match your preferences. This method is often used by the BEAM team from the Zen community, who are powering our Anti-Recoil this time around, making it easier to keep the GAMEPACK up-to-date, ensuring consistent Anti-Recoil behavior, and any other M.O.D. that relies on sensitivity, and providing a means to have different sensitivities for ADS and hip-fire.
We will not be doing Global Scaling in every new GAMEPACK, just the ones where it makes sense. We are aware that some of you are going to struggle with adjusting to this, because the GAMEPACK adjustment is not 1-to-1 with the game, but we believe you'll see this was the right call.

GAMEPACK Mode

This GAMEPACK can be saved to any of the GAMEPACK Mode Slots 1 to 8 in M.O.D. CENTRAL™. Once your GAMEPACK is saved and you are ready to play, it can be selected in GAMEPACK Mode:
When Mapping Button #1 is released, the top LEDs will stop indicating the GAMEPACK slot number. Depending on the GAMEPACK, they may display GAMEPACK-related indicators instead. DO NOT confuse this with the slot number.

Features

Optimized Weapons
Crazy recoil throwing off your rifle aim? Mindlessly spamming fire to shoot a pistol? With M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand), you can optimize your controller output for your weapon, then steady your focus on the target and strive for near-laser accuracy*.
Optimized Anti-Recoil
Weapons undergo an intense in-house Anti-Recoil optimization for in-game "FOV: 120" (Field of View), reducing the effects of each weapon's base recoil pattern wherever possible, with maximum visibility.
Quick Edit Anti-Recoil
Quick Edit Anti-Recoil adjustments enable you to fine-tune Optimized Anti-Recoil using your controller, achieving near-perfect settings for various configurations and weapon attachments. You can even create your own Anti-Recoil settings from scratch.
Multiple Weapon Slots
Choose between various options for managing your preferred weapons, with means to store separate weapon settings and quickly swap between them during gameplay.
Multiple M.O.D.s
Aim Assist, Auto Focus, Ping Shot, Rapid Crouch Shot, Rapid Melee, Slide Cancel, Spring Swap, and more!
