Hybrid

For STRIKEPACK™ with M.O.D.|PASS™.

Page Contents

Weapon Swap: "Hybrid" is primarily designed for games with the standard two-weapon system, consisting of Primary & Secondary. However, it is meant to be flexible, especially for games where you are carrying one or more additional weapons on the side, such as a special or power weapon.

This mode consists of a Weapon Slot pairing of Primary & Secondary, labeled "Loadout 1" in the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration. This section is meant for your preferred in-game Loadout; your "go-to" two weapons:

For the remaining six slots, with the end labels [3] though [8], you can assign different Weapon M.O.D.s, Anti-Recoil, and settings as you see fit. You can ignore the designations of Loadouts 2 through 4, as well as their Primary and Secondary designations as they are NOT relevant here:

Sync With Switch Weapon

Only the ACTIVE Weapon Slot will affect your controls. Provided you are swapped to the Primary or Secondary Weapon Slot, Hybrid tracks your "Switch Weapon" button presses, enabling you to synchronize it with in-game weapon switching. When synced, you will seamlessly switch between your two weapons and their associated Weapon M.O.D.s & Anti-Recoil, even during a firefight:

XB: The Bright LED is the ACTIVE Slot, whereas the Dim LEDs are the Inactive Slots:

In game-specific GAMEPACKs, when the Primary or Secondary Weapon Slot is ACTIVE, Hybrid may also track button presses related to abilities & equipment, or weapon holstering, preventing M.O.D. interference where possible. It may indicate accordingly when it does so:

Tip - To reduce the frequency of desynchronization, thoroughly check your game for any in-game settings you can turn off that would otherwise automatically switch your weapon, such as behavior concerning ammunition depletion.

Controller Shortcuts

You can swap between Weapon Slots via Controller Shortcuts:

Further Details

Primary & Secondary: "Primary" & "Secondary" Weapon Slots allow different Weapon M.O.D.s & Anti-Recoil for your in-game Primary & Secondary Weapons. The active slot is indicated by the bright LED position from left to right. If the first lit LED is bright, "Primary" is active, and if the second lit LED is bright instead, "Secondary" is active. When swapped to either of these slots, your "Switch Button" and potentially other button presses will be tracked and automatic swapping will take place. When manually swapping between these slots, the rumble indicators will be a single heavy rumble for "Primary", and two heavy rumbles for "Secondary".

Six Remaining Slots: Weapon Slots [3] through [8] allow for different Weapon M.O.D.s & Anti-Recoil as you see fit. The active slot is indicated by the bright LED position from left to right. When swapped to one of these six remaining slots, button tracking will be paused. When swapping between these slots, there will be a countable number of heavy rumbles indicating the slot number.

BLOCK M.O.D.s: Applying the wrong Weapon M.O.D.s and Anti-Recoil can have a detrimental effect, and this can be awkward if you pick up a random weapon with all your Weapon Slots occupied with settings. Additionally, all M.O.D.s affect your controls indiscriminately and they CANNOT know what is currently happening in your gameplay. Games often contextually reuse buttons. Menus can be affected, your fire button with Rapid Fire may fail to accelerate a vehicle, your crouch button with Rapid Crouch may start switching seats, your special ability that requires you to hold a button may fail to function because a M.O.D. is rapidly pressing that button, and so on. If you can, it is worth assigning one of your six remaining Weapon Slots to "BLOCK M.O.D.s". This provides a shortcut to swap away from your M.O.D.s so you can take a break from them. ⚠️DO NOT assign "BLOCK M.O.D.s" to the Primary or Secondary Weapon Slot as this would be a horrible experience⚠️.
