Which STRIKEPACK™ models are compatible with M.O.D. CENTRAL™ and a M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription?

STRIKEPACK Dominator & Eliminator are the ONLY models which are compatible with M.O.D. CENTRAL™ and a year-long M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription purchase. Frequent access to a Windows® 10 or 11 computer is required to install/update GAMEPACKs, for content that goes beyond the built-in M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand).

If you have purchased a STRIKEPACK HORIZON/HORIZON VISTA model, you are in the wrong place, and wrong manual. These new generation products DO NOT use M.O.D. CENTRAL™ or M.O.D.|PASS™. They use a smartphone (Android/iOS) app called STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ to access GAMEPACKs & M.O.D.s, with all current content included within the app at no additional cost. Dominator/Eliminator CANNOT be used with STRIKEPACK CENTRAL™ as they lack the technology to connect to a phone app.


What is a GAMEPACK?

A GAMEPACK is a digital pack that can be used on your STRIKEPACK™. Each GAMEPACK contains a collection of M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) that may or may not be game-specific. If our Support Team asks you what GAMEPACK you are using, provide the name of the GAMEPACK, not your STRIKEPACK™.


What are M.O.D.s?

M.O.D.s is an acronym of "Macros On Demand". These controller macros are NOT to be confused with any other definition of mods. They are built by our team, and they are simply controller button inputs that are sent to your console. STRIKEPACK™ technology strictly uses macros and makes NO alterations whatsoever to the hardware or game code. M.O.D.s can help you bring out your best within your skill bracket, streamlining certain gameplay elements and providing additional fun.


Why is M.O.D.|PASS™ NOT free?

STRIKEPACK Dominator & Eliminator are older generation products, sold at a lower price than our feature-packed, app-driven STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ models. To expand the functionality of Dominator or Eliminator beyond its basic mapping functionality and built-in M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand), a year-long M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription is available to purchase at an affordable price.


How do I check what content is available on M.O.D.|PASS™?

For an up-to-date list of M.O.D.|PASS™ content, please refer to the "About Content" section here. For various reasons, GAMEPACKs and game support sometimes leave the subscription service, as do M.O.D.s. This removed content is often invertedly referred to in older videos. You are responsible for checking everything you require is available before purchasing a subscription. There is NO free trial service and there are consequences to refunding M.O.D.|PASS™.


How do I subscribe to M.O.D.|PASS™?

To subscribe to M.O.D.|PASS™, you will need a STRIKEPACK™ Dominator or Eliminator, Windows® 11 or 10, and a valid credit card. Please follow the instructions here.


How do I cancel M.O.D.|PASS™?

Unlike most subscription services, M.O.D.|PASS™ is a single-year purchase. It DOES NOT auto-renew. At the end of the year, it will expire, your STRIKEPACK™ will be reverted to normal, and then you can decide if you want to purchase another year.


Can I refund M.O.D.|PASS™?

To be eligible for a refund, you MUST have purchased M.O.D.|PASS™ directly on your credit card, NOT through a token (serial), and you MUST be within 30 days of purchase. If you are dissatisfied with your M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription, we recommend you simply just don't renew at the end of the subscription year. However, if you insist on a refund, just be aware that refunds are NOT taken lightly. M.O.D.|PASS™ is charged in $USD, meaning the exchange rate shifts daily and you are unlikely to receive the precise amount you paid. It also incurs a negative loss on our end. For this reason, it is our policy to prevent future subscription purchases for that device (blacklisting), and if we suspect abuse, we may prevent you from purchasing altogether. In all cases, a refund will lead to GAMEPACKs already on your device being ultimately wiped, returning it to just the Tournament and built-in M.O.D. modes. Is there a free trial of M.O.D.|PASS™?

Unfortunately, our system does not allow for free trials. Here's the thing: M.O.D.|PASS™ is a low-cost purchase that you can optionally make each year. There is no auto-renew. It is all up to you. Get it for a year. See how you like it.


Can I transfer M.O.D.|PASS™ to a new device?

Should you purchase a new STRIKEPACK Dominator or Eliminator, you may contact our support team email at support@collectiveminds.ca to request a transfer of your currently active M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription to the new device. This will deactivate it on the old device. Cronus™ and STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ products DO NOT utilize a M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription.


Is there an advantage to purchasing a STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator over a STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ model?

Other than it initially costing less? Unless you specifically need something from M.O.D.|PASS™, there is no advantage to purchasing a STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator over a STRIKEPACK HORIZON™ series device. Horizon is essentially Strike Pack 2. It leads in all new GAMEPACK & M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) development, and includes all current features that you can access through the app at no additional cost, no subscription. With more capable technology, its app opens up new possibilities, immediate access to modern features & settings, and excellent ease of use.

That being said, STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator models remain the most affordable entry point for paddles/back buttons, and if you need an option for PS4®. With Windows® 10/11 M.O.D. CENTRAL™ for configuration and an active M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription, you will have access to a selection of new & legacy GAMEPACKs.


Does PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator work with a third party or counterfeit controller?

PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator require a standard controller from Sony®. They DO NOT work with third party or counterfeit controllers.


Does PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator work on PS5®?

PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator can ONLY be used with PS4® game versions running in backwards compatibility on PS5®. Native PS5® games will block the PS4® controller, and hence the STRIKEPACK™. The basic rule is if the PS4® controller isn't allowed to play the game, neither is its STRIKEPACK™.


Does PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator work on PC?

PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator is unsupported on PC, but generally it does work through Steam® at least but nothing else. You're going to run into a majority of game launchers and games where the controller just doesn't get detected. Customers do get it working beyond that through various tools to which we CANNOT provide support with. You're arguably better off with an Xbox® STRIKEPACK™ and controller on PC.


Does Xbox® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator work on PC?

Xbox® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator works on PC for the most part, though our team doesn't particularly test it and certain M.O.D.s may not function as intended. You may occasionally run into a problematic game launcher, but overall compatibility is much higher than PS4® STRIKEPACK™.


Does Xbox® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator work with an Elite controller or third party controller?

Xbox® STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator require a standard controller from Microsoft®. They DO NOT work with the Elite controller, or any third party controllers.


Is STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator a paperweight without M.O.D.|PASS™?

No, but there are customers who feel that way. Without a M.O.D.|PASS™ subscription, STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator is mostly meant for Tournament Mode Paddle Button mapping. It includes a basic M.O.D. Mode with some built-in M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) but these older M.O.D.s are fairly limited and no longer updated. For example, many newer games require more sophisticated and specialized Anti-Recoil, which is ONLY available on M.O.D.|PASS™.


Is it okay to buy a preowned/used STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator for use with M.O.D.|PASS™?

It is risky to buy a preowned/used STRIKEPACK™ Dominator/Eliminator for use with M.O.D.|PASS™. This means the amount of wear and tear on the device is unknown, there is no warranty should it fail, and at worst it may have been blacklisted from a previous subscription refund, rendering it unable to subscribe altogether. And yes, unfortunately, certain devices like the PS4® STRIKEPACK™ Eliminator are indeed discontinued. Where possible, it is best to purchase a device new from an authorized reseller or directly from our store. That way you have warranty and peace of mind. And for Xbox®, we highly recommend sticking to the white Universal models, as these are the latest.


Why do my M.O.D.s NOT work?

If your M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) are NOT working, you should first establish if you can you map anything to the Paddle Buttons in Tournament Mode. If the answer is no, there is a connection problem between the cable, STRIKEPACK™, and controller. Contact support@collectiveminds.ca with videos and pictures, and let them know that detail. If you can map in Tournament Mode, you either need to spend more time reading the manuals, or you may need to do a "Factory Reset", to which you can find video instructions for each device in the "FAQ" section here.


How can I fix "Unexpected Error" in M.O.D. CENTRAL™?

In the event of an "Unexpected Error", you will need close M.O.D. CENTRAL™ and restart your computer. Before re-opening M.O.D. CENTRAL™, you will need to do a "Factory Reset", to which you can find video instructions for each device in the "FAQ" section here.


What is the best M.O.D.?

The best M.O.D. (Macro On Demand) is arguably Anti-Recoil by far, especially Anti-Recoil our team has optimized for each of your preferred weapons.


Who is Dave? How do you know I am Dave?

This is a message that pops up if M.O.D. CENTRAL™ and the Updater are open at the same time, or a second copy of the Updater is open. You need to close them and try again. Don't get the reference? Watch this and then you will understand.
