"Weapon Setup" for Apex Old GAMEPACK! This section of the manual will guide you through the various methods for setting up Weapon Slots (known by their older name, "Profiles", in the M.O.D. CENTRAL™ GAMEPACK Configuration). There are four Weapon Slots/Profiles available, and you can assign each one with a different Supported Weapon (Optimized Weapon) and Anti-Recoil Adjustments.

Many Supported Weapons have undergone an intense in-house optimization, reducing the effects of each weapon's base recoil pattern wherever possible. This Optimized Anti-Recoil should provide a starting point for your adjustments, even with this Legacy GAMEPACK being long discontinued.

If you know which weapons you are likely to be using, you can assign Supported Weapons in the GAMEPACK Config. "Profile 1" is for Primary Weapon, "Profile 2" is for Secondary Weapon, then "Profile 3 & 4" are spare slots to assign as you see fit.

In the GAMEPACK Config, set "ADS Anti-Recoil" to "Enabled - Quick Edit", or if play with an "Inverted Y" in-game aim/camera, "Enabled Inverted - Quick Edit".

With a default vertical strength of 115, and a default horizontal strength of 125, Anti-Recoil defaults to taking "in-game" aim assist into account, optimized for firing at enemies. You can view and technically adjust these Anti-Recoil values in the GAMEPACK Config, however, it is NOT worth trying to guess your optimal values. They will be somewhat unique to you, your Weapon Attachments, and Settings.

Available older implementations of "Weapon AI" and "Quick Edit Anti-Recoil Adjustments" come into play here, taking out the guesswork and allowing you to change up any Weapon Slot/Profile during play.
